About Samsung Jet Bot AI+

The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is Samsung's top-of-the-line robot vacuum, featuring advanced AI object recognition, powerful suction, and deep integration with the Samsung SmartThings ecosystem. Using Intel AI technology, the Jet Bot AI+ can recognize different types of objects and surfaces, adjusting its cleaning behavior accordingly — it even knows to avoid pet waste and other messes you definitely don't want it to spread around. The 60W Digital Inverter Motor delivers strong suction that automatically adjusts based on floor type and debris amount. The Clean Station auto-empty dock uses a 2.5L dust bag that holds up to 2-3 months of dirt, and its air-tight design prevents dust from escaping when emptying. If you're already in the Samsung ecosystem with SmartThings, this robot vacuum fits right in with seamless app control and automation.

✓ What We Like

  • Excellent AI object recognition with Intel AI
  • Strong 60W digital inverter motor with auto-adjust suction
  • Clean Station auto-empty with multi-layer filtration
  • Seamless Samsung SmartThings integration
  • LiDAR + 3D Sensor navigation

✗ What We Don't Like

  • Expensive for the feature set compared to competitors
  • Mopping is basic — no auto-lift, no self-washing
  • Battery life is only average (100 min)
  • App only works well with SmartThings
  • Not as many features as Roborock or Eufy

Key Features

🧠

AI Object Recognition

Powered by Intel AI, the Jet Bot AI+ recognizes objects like pet bowls, pet waste, shoes, cables, and more. It avoids things it shouldn't run over and can even send you notifications when it finds certain objects like "pet area needs attention."

🌪️

60W Digital Inverter Motor

Samsung's powerful Digital Inverter Motor delivers up to 60W of suction power. Automatically adjusts suction based on floor type — boosting on carpets, reducing on hard floors — and even detects how much debris is in the air.

📦

Clean Station Auto-Empty

The Clean Station automatically empties the robot's dustbin into a 2.5L sealed bag when it returns to dock. The multi-layer filtration system traps 99.99% of fine dust so nothing escapes back into your air.

🏠

SmartThings Integration

Deep integration with Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem. Control, schedule, and monitor from the SmartThings app. Connect with other Samsung devices and create automations — like starting cleaning when you leave home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I get this if I'm in the Samsung ecosystem?

If you're deeply invested in Samsung SmartThings and want a robot vacuum that integrates well, the Jet Bot AI+ is a solid choice. The SmartThings integration is very good. However, if you care about mopping or want the most features for your money, you'll get a better overall robot from Roborock or Eufy, even if the integration isn't as tight.

How good is the AI object recognition?

The AI recognition is actually very good — it's powered by Intel and can accurately identify many common household objects and pet items. It does a good job avoiding pet waste, which is a big concern for pet owners. It's one of the better AI recognition systems we've tested.

Can it mop and vacuum at the same time?

The Jet Bot AI+ has a basic mopping pad attachment, but it's pretty limited compared to competitors. It doesn't have auto mop lifting, so it can't go from hard floors to carpet in the same run — you'd need to remove the mop attachment first. There's also no self-washing dock for the mop. The mopping is fine for light maintenance, but not great.

How long does the Clean Station bag last?

Samsung says the 2.5L bag lasts about 2-3 months for a typical household. If you have pets or clean more frequently, it'll be closer to 1-2 months. Replacement bags are reasonably priced and widely available.

Final Verdict

The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is a great robot vacuum for Samsung SmartThings users who value AI object recognition and ecosystem integration. It's not the best value and the mopping is basic, but the AI recognition is excellent and it fits seamlessly into a Samsung smart home. If you're not in the Samsung ecosystem, there are better options for the money.
