WiFi 6E adds the clean 6GHz band, which matters if you have many 6E devices or live in a crowded apartment building. WiFi 7 is faster still but devices are scarce in 2026. For most homes, WiFi 6 is plenty upgrade to 6E only if you have compatible phones and laptops.
